Club Fiesta

Army Public School has organized a Club Fiesta for emphasizing on different activities through active participation in various social, athletic and artistic clubs. We have included all the skill subjects in these clubs which are a part of the CBSE curriculum as per the New Education Policy. Besides academics, co scholastic activities form an integral part of the school curriculum. They are propelled out of their solace and are encouraged to socialize. We usher students to discover and choose clubs of their own interest voluntarily.

c) GOAL: Our goal is to provide holistic education by balancing academics with extracurricular activities. The syllabus for the club is designed to make learning less arduous for the students without compromising quality. Army Public School Dighi believes in the importance of club activities and aims to provide plenty of opportunities for students to take on leadership roles and show off their talents through club activities. This boosts their level of confidence and their sense of independence. LIST OF CLUBS:

1) INNOVATION CLUB: Innovation is the buzzword of the 21st century. The key and immediate objective of the Innovation Club in School is to create awareness, educate, nurture and inculcate a culture of innovation amongst school children and to enable them to generate new ideas and become more innovative.

2) CULTURE AND HERITAGE CLUB: The Culture and Heritage Club aims to create a sense of unity and shared belonging amongst the students. It will help generate a sense of pride in our rich heritage. It will also inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the need for conservation of our culture and heritage

3) MATH CLUB: Math club aims to encourage a positive attitude towards mathematics. It will stimulate mathematical curiosity and promote cross-curricular thinking along with the holistic development of pupils.

4) HEALTH AND HOSPITALITY CLUB: People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel .

5) FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLUB: An Orientation Session for FRENCH & GERMAN languages was organized which gave students the insights about the numerable benefits of learning a foreign language. A team led by Mr Prateek Kothari from ITESKUL gave students some exposure and hands-on experience as they familiarized students with some interesting facts about France & Germany.

6) ECO CLUB: Planet Protectors club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness in future generations and living for a social and humanitarian cause. Explained ways to be followed for reducing carbon footprints. Informed the visitors about ‘Recharkha' organisation which converts dry plastic packets into office bags.

7) CREATIVE ARTS CLUB: Students of Creative club participated in Club fiesta enthusiastically. Students showed their Drawings, Paintings, Pencil shadings, Craft work, Greeting cards.

8) LITERARY CLUB: The Literary Club has been conceived for the love of the language exhibited by all teachers and students. It is one of the most active clubs on campus. The Literary Club has the following objectives

9) SPORTS CLUB: The inclusion of Robotics Clubs in the school co-curricular activities gives exposure to the students from an early age to be able to feel comfortable working around machines as the world is inevitably moving towards robotization.

10) ROBOTICS CLUB: In Robotics Club different activities like VR headgear, paper circuit boards, designing and coding for a variety of bots etc, will be taught to the students on every Friday as a club activity.
