Bagless
Day, an initiative by CBSE, aims to demonstrate that learning extends beyond
textbooks and to give students a much-needed break from the physical burden of
their school bags. Each Bagless Day features activities designed to enhance
skills and knowledge in innovative and creative ways.
This
time, the theme was “Celebrating Indian Diversity.” The day began with a “Show
and Tell,” where students shared insights about different cultures, fostering
an appreciation for the rich diversity of our nation. During the 4th and 5th
periods, the atmosphere was filled with rhythmic beats of patriotism as
students sang passionately, reflecting the patriotism coursing through their
veins. Following this, students from classes 6 to 9 deepened their Sanskrit
vocabulary through various language-enriching activities, such as shloka
recitation and creating “Shabdrupani.”
The day concluded with a creative twist, where
students engaged in making portfolio files, allowing them to express their
creativity while reinforcing the day’s learning in a tangible form
